The performative research in objeto transicional comes from a very old bodily memory of the artist accsessed thorugh the psychoanalytic of transactional objetct.

As a child notices that she and her mother are separate individuals that eventually separates, it starts to look for comfort in objects that smell like their mother, as if they were carrying her along through the object that is culturally called "naninha". To let go of this objects is a natural process and occurs when the child realizes it's individuality, although the artist never let go of her transactional objects - she only replaced them with bigger ones as time passed. At the performance, the artist brings her own real "naninha", a big fluffy blanket.

The action consists of the exploring of the artist's body with this object, going back to a physical, gestural and emotional memory in an exchange of affection, refuge, that can turn into a prision and is, at the same time, the artist's protection from the enviroment and also the media through wich the interaction with this enviroment occurs during the performative action.
